What you need to know about a Lash Lift & Tint??

What is a Lash Lift & Tint?

A lash lift and tint is a cosmetic treatment that enhances the appearance of natural lashes. It involves using a  solution to curl the lashes and a semi-permanent dye to darken the lashes. I use a natural plant based extract solution that is NOT a chemical solution.

Here are some pros and cons of lash lift and tint:

Pros:

No need for mascara, if you don’t want to: With a lash lift and tint, you can achieve a fuller and darker look without the need for mascara.

Low-maintenance: Unlike eyelash extensions, a lash lift and tint requires minimal maintenance. It lasts for 6-8 weeks and requires no special care. Some clients report that my lash lift lasts 10 weeks.

Natural-looking: A lash lift and tint enhances the natural beauty of your lashes without adding any extra weight or unnatural-looking extensions or chemical products.

Safe: When performed by a trained and licensed professional, a lash lift and tint is a safe cosmetic treatment that looks and feels natural. No infection risk with glue and falsies.

Cons:

Cost: Lash lift and tint can be expensive compared to other lash enhancement options, such as lash extensions.

Possible side effects: There is a risk of side effects with any cosmetic treatment, including lash lift and tint. These can include allergic reactions, eye irritation, or infection. Although very rare, I also let my clients fill in documents to look out for possible sensitivities or allergies.

Not suitable for everyone: Not everyone is a good candidate for a lash lift and tint. People with very short or sparse lashes may not see significant results as those with long, thick of volume lashes. My own lashes are short and I still see a difference.

Short term results: The results of a lash lift and tint are temporary and last for only 6-8 weeks. This is because our own natural lash cycle is between 6-9 weeks as our lases fall out daily.
